A man has been shot dead while sitting in a car near Euston Station in London, in what police are treating as a targeted attack.
The 26 year old victim was inside a white Nissan Juke on Chalton Street when he was approached by a suspect on a bike on Saturday night.
According to the Metropolitan Police, CCTV shows the attacker fired several shots before quickly fleeing the scene.
Emergency services were called at around 22:30, but despite the efforts of paramedics, the man died at the scene. A police cordon remains in place in the area, which is located close to King's Cross Station, St Pancras International and the British Library.
Detectives have launched a full murder investigation, but no arrests have been made at this stage.
One worker in the area said his colleague reported hearing “a loud bang a few times,” prompting people from nearby venues, including a local pub, to come outside and see what had happened.
