Gemma Owen's continues to be the media's star of Love Island as OK! Magazine have published an exclusive with Owen's ex, where he boldly states that he would be able to steal Gemma away from current villa beau, Luca Bish.

27-year-old Neil Farrugia said that he would want to enter the show as the next bombshell in hopes of turning Gemma's head back towards himself!He said:"I would definitely try my best to turn Gemma's head back in my direction – and I think I could make that happen. Our relationship ended on really good terms, so we still have positive vibes between us. I think I could make things interesting in the villa."The pair reportedly dated for four months after meeting in Dubai and traveled together for some time before calling quits because of the distance between them.

He explained:"I live in Malta and she lives in the UK." According to Neil, the two parted on good terms. "Gemma and I always had a lot of respect for one another and, though we celebrated many good times and good vibes together. "Complimenting this year's Love Island star, Neil said that not only does Gemma have "drop dead stunning looks" he also added that:

"Gemma has a super personality. She's a cute character but also really mature and outgoing. There are so many goals in life she wants to achieve. Gemma ticks lots of boxes – we felt really comfortable together straightaway and just got on really well." Neil also went on to say that Luca Bish is not Gemma's usual type, stating that Italian Islander Davide Sanclimenti would suit her instead. 19-year-old Gemma Owen has already been surprised when ex-boyfriend of almost a year, Jacques O'Neill entered the villa as a bombshell earlier into the series. However, the two kept it surprisingly civil from the start and Jacques has even become close friends with Luca, Gemma's new love interest.
