Things are getting increasingly tense inside the Big Brother house, with Rochelle and Johanne finding themselves at the centre of yet another explosive disagreement, this time following a conversation about microaggressions. During Sunday night’s episode, Johanne and Pauline sat down for a conversation about their experiences with racism and microaggressions both inside and outside of the house.

Reflecting on her previous argument with Rochelle, Johanne said:

“With my situation with Rochelle, to me it felt like a microaggression.”

Johanne questioned whether Rochelle would have reacted in the same way if another housemate, using Rhianna as an example, had wanted to reheat their food.

However, Rochelle overheard parts of the conversation from elsewhere in the bedroom and appeared to interpret what she heard differently.

She later approached Rhianna, Lynx and Omar and asked the group whether they believed she and Rhianna had ever been racist during their time in the house.

That interpretation quickly caused confusion, as Johanne had not accused Rhianna of displaying microaggressions. Instead, she had used Rhianna as a comparison while questioning Rochelle’s behaviour towards her.

Once Johanne discovered what Rochelle had told the other housemates, things quickly descended into another heated confrontation.

“Playback the cameras,” Johanne said as the pair disputed what had actually been said, repeatedly calling Rochelle a “liar”.

“She likes drama and she wants to create a problem,” Johanne added.

Rochelle, meanwhile, continued to defend what she believed she had overheard, telling the house: “I’ve never heard of it in my life.”

Eventually, the argument became heated enough for Big Brother to intervene and call Johanne to the Diary Room.

The confrontation comes just days after Rochelle and Johanne's now-infamous argument over chicken.

During the House of Nothing task, Rochelle and Rob were responsible for preparing food for the house. After dinner was served, Johanne said her chicken appeared pink and wanted to put it back into the air fryer for a few more minutes.

Rochelle objected because reheating the food went against the rules of the task and could potentially cause the housemates to fail.

“I don’t think you’re allowed to. You’re not allowed to touch it,” Rochelle told her.

But Johanne insisted she wasn't prepared to eat chicken she believed needed longer to cook, responding: “Rochelle, I want to cook my chicken.”

What started as a disagreement over the rules quickly became personal, with the pair shouting across the table and exchanging insults before other housemates stepped in. Big Brother later spoke to Rochelle about threats of violence made during the confrontation.

It was that interaction that Johanne returned to while discussing microaggressions with Pauline days later.

The latest fallout has unsurprisingly sent viewers straight to the comments, with some simply entertained by the amount of chaos coming out of this year's house.

“Where can I watch this please? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This BB house show seems to be lit 🤣,” one person wrote.

Others focused on how quickly the conversation escalated once Rochelle brought what she had overheard to the rest of the house.

“Ironic how Johanne spoke about micro aggressions and the house became an immediate example,” another viewer commented.

Meanwhile, another questioned Rochelle’s interpretation of the conversation, writing:

“Who mentioned racism? No one but Rochelle. She’s playing a nasty game. Going off her now.”

The episode has left viewers debating several different versions of the same conversation. Johanne did explicitly say her experience with Rochelle “felt like a microaggression”, while Rochelle appears to have misunderstood why Rhianna’s name was mentioned and subsequently asked the house whether the pair had been considered racist.
