5 HOBBIES YOU DID NOT THINK TO TRY IN 2024

Whether you want to start a new hobby to keep fit, or even start one for your own mental health, maybe you could even been looking at something to do as a fun activity with your partner or some friends, these hobbies we have listed will be GREAT for all the above.

  1. REFORMER PILATES: Although Pilates has been around for decades, it is has been popular for working on your deep core and help you build strength and relieve back problems, Reformer Pilates seems to be the 'in thing' nowadays. Performed on a reformer machine rather than a mat, reformer Pilates can be particularly helpful for people who've recently had an injury or want to get more precise with their movements and isolate certain muscles even further. This hobby will really test your strength, but what is great about the reformer machine is that it allows all levels of strength to take part with assistance. Thanks to the springs on the reformer machine which are completely adjustable, means that you can modify your exercises and resistance according to your fitness level, familiarity with Pilates moves and the build of your body. A Pilates reformer can be just as useful for someone looking to intensely work their core, as it is for someone recovering after a serious injury. A typical Reformer Pilates session can be quote expensive ranging from £20-45 a class, (some establishments may offer a bulk booking to bring the cost down)

Nowadays, step classes are focused primarily on the type of music used to get people more involved and enjoying. A step class is great for all around fitness, especially if you are trying to loose weight. Step aerobics has all the benefits of a high-intensity cardio workout without putting stress on your joints.
