US artist PnB Rock fatally shot dead

US Rapper/Singer PnB Rock, formally known as Rakim Hasheem Allen, has been fatally shot dead at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in LA on Monday afternoon.

It is said that the musician, who was with his girlfriend at the restaurant, was approached by the gunmen who demanded Allen hand over his jewellery before opening fire and fatally shooting the 30-year-old to death in the afternoon of Monday 12th September.

Arrests have yet to be made regarding the murder.

Los Angeles Police Department Captain Kelly Muniz stated that the suspect had "some sort of verbal exchange" with the couple before shooting several times.

Many fellow artists have since flooded in their condolences for Rock with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Offset and KSI.

KSI tweeted -"RIP PNB Rock. I'm just so upset, I'm sorry. My favourite artists are just getting killed man.

It's not fair. It's just not fair"

Minaj, shared her condolences but also warned rappers of such instances, tweeting: "After Pop Smoke there's no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus. #SIP #PnbRock"

Meanwhile, another female rapper Cardi B took a different approach as she tweeted - "I highly doubt nikkas was looking at PNB's babymom IG. He was in a bad location and people stay outsid"e plotting. It's very irresponsible and inconsiderate to blame her for something so tragic. We should be sending nothing but love to her and his family at this time.

Allen leaves behind 2 children, a daughter Milan Allen and a second daughter, Xuri Lee whom he shares with influencer Stephanie Sibounheuang.

It is suggested that the suspects were able to locate the couple through a post on the Sibounheuang's Instagram story
