Tommy Fury has found himself at the centre of fresh controversy after reports emerged that he was asked to leave a Halloween event following allegations that he had intimidated members of staff.
The professional boxer and former Love Island star, 27, reportedly attended Scare City, an immersive horror attraction located at the former Camelot Theme Park near Chorley, Lancashire, wit friends on Saturday, 10 October. According to reports published by The Sun, several members of the attraction’s scare team raised concerns about Fury’s conduct throughout the evening, with one female employee claiming she was left frightened by an encounter with him.
An unnamed source told the publication that Fury appeared to become increasingly intoxicated as the night progressed, alleging that he was rude towards workers, many of whom were women, and behaved in an intimidating manner.
The insider claimed:
“Through the night he seemed to get more and more drunk and was rude to scare workers, a lot of whom were women, and was intimidating. He was squaring up to people. He smelled like he’d been sick at one point. Eventually he was asked to leave by management.”
Footage from the evening reportedly showed Fury approaching a scare actor before kissing the performer’s clown mask, with the boxer also appearing to square up to another member of the team.

One employee, a scare actor named Onyx, described how the encounter had affected her, claiming that Fury lunged towards her during the incident. She said:
“I was shaking. I’ve got a famous boxer in my face and two security guards. That was not what I came to work for. I was terrified.”
Onyx also suggested that staff members had been made aware of the situation, adding: “All the actors were made aware not even to entertain you.”
Another worker expressed frustration over the reported disruption, explaining that the attraction was intended to provide visitors with an enjoyable experience rather than leave employees dealing with uncomfortable situations. They said:
“It’s frustrating when you put on stuff like this for families to enjoy then you get idiots ruining it.”
However, Fury’s representatives have disputed the characterisation of his interactions with staff, offering a different account of what allegedly took place.

A spokesperson for the boxer said:
“He was asked by numerous members of staff that night to have a face-off with them in a very jokey way.”
The representative also claimed that several employees later contacted Fury to express positive feelings about meeting him, adding that they had said “how lovely it was to see him”.
Scare City has confirmed that it is looking into the matter, with a spokesperson stressing the importance of protecting the people working at the attraction. They said:
“The safety and wellbeing of our scare actors remain our top priority, and we are investigating the matter further.”
Scare City is an immersive Halloween horror experience held at the abandoned Camelot Theme Park site in Chorley. The attraction features live performers, themed scare zones and elaborate sets designed to give visitors a frightening experience as they make their way through the venue.

The event also operates a brand partnership model, offering opportunities for companies to sponsor attractions, create branded scare zones and run promotional activations. However, no specific commercial partnership has been confirmed as being directly connected to Fury’s reported visit.
The incident has also prompted wider conversations about Fury’s public image and his relationship with Molly-Mae Hague.
The couple, who first met on Love Island in 2019, have remained prominent figures in the public eye throughout their relationship. They share a daughter, Bambi, and later welcomed their second child, while also navigating difficulties that have attracted considerable attention from fans.
In August 2024, Molly-Mae announced that she and Fury had separated, prompting widespread speculation about the reasons behind their split. Fury subsequently spoke publicly about his struggles with alcohol, acknowledging that his drinking had contributed to difficulties in his personal life. The pair later reconciled, with their relationship continuing to draw attention from their substantial online following.

Against that background, the latest allegations have led some social media users to question whether Fury’s reported behaviour could affect the progress he has made in rebuilding his public image. One person commented:
“Money can’t buy class y’all..”
Another wrote:
“I swear Molly-Mae left him because of his drinking? LMAFO, I see nothing has changed.”
A third social media user focused on the contrast between the couple’s respective public images, saying:
“Molly understands the power of perception and knows exactly what to show the public. Tommy on the other hand seems determined to undo all that good PR!”

The reactions reflect how closely the couple’s personal lives continue to be followed, with some fans drawing comparisons between Molly-Mae’s business profile and carefully curated online presence and Fury’s more controversial headlines.
However, not everyone believes the boxer should face widespread criticism over the reported incident. One person offered a more forgiving perspective, commenting:
“Leave the man alone… In life, some of us make silly mistakes after consuming too much alcohol. Live and let live!”
The differing opinions highlight the divide between those who believe public figures should be held accountable for their behaviour, particularly when allegations involve employees doing their jobs, and those who feel that a single incident should not define a person.
For Scare City, the priority remains the wellbeing of its staff while the investigation continues. For Fury, the situation has once again placed his personal conduct under public scrutiny, with the competing accounts from his representatives and the attraction’s employees leaving questions about the circumstances of the evening still to be resolved.

While the allegations have generated discussion about his relationship, drinking and reputation, the claims should be distinguished from established facts as the attraction continues its investigation. How the situation develops, and whether Fury chooses to address the reports further, remains to be seen.
