Dragons' Den star and entrepreneur Steven Bartlett has clapped back after facing criticism for speaking to Piers Morgan on his Diary of a CEO podcast. The controversial journalist, 57, is one of the latest guests on Bartlett's Diary of a CEO podcast as he prepares to air his latest TV talk show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, on 25th April. Bartlett had confirmed his latest guest on social media.

He promised the talk would be a "very honest conversation about life, cancel culture, the art of attention, failure, mental health, truth and more!"On Twitter, a media personality called Kelechi had criticised Bartlett for having Piers Morgan as his latest guest on the podcast. She said: "Imagine interviewing and further platforming a man who is actively harassing a woman in front of the world. Matt Hancock and his long back groping trying to rebrand is one thing, but this? Yeah, this is smelly."Bartlett defended himself from the criticism and responded:

"Imagine only being willing to have a conversation with people you know you already completely agree with and sticking your fingers in your ears to anyone else. Imagine how little progress would be made in the world. Imagine judging a conversation before you've even heard it."Other people chimed in the conversation with their own criticism.

One person said: "NO THANKS. Why Steven WHY! First Molly Mae and now this guy?!?!?! Get serious #losingrespectfast." Another person said: "you don't even interview CEOs or business people anymore, how are matt hancock and piers morgan CEOs?? just interviewing celebrities".Bartlett has previously faced criticism for speaking to former Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, on his Diary of a CEO podcast at the end of February. At the time the episode was teased, some had asked what Hancock was the CEO of, while others questioned why he was being given such a platform in which to attempt "reputation rehabilitation".Morgan's episode will launch on the same day he makes his debut on the small screen next month.
