In his first step, President Biden has revealed that he is "pardoning all prior federal offences of simple marijuana possession".He has also called for simple state marijuana possession offences to be pardoned by governors."Just as no one should be in a federal prison solely for possessing marijuana, no one should be in a local jail or state prison for that reason, either," Biden said.He added, "Third: We classify marijuana at the same level as heroin - an more serious than fentanyl.
