Dancehall star Popcaan is appealing to British Airways after discovering he left a custom-made ring on a flight from London to Jamaica, urging the airline to help recover the sentimental piece. The artist took to X (formerly Twitter) shortly after landing, revealing he had accidentally left the one-of-a-kind ring inside the seat pouch on British Airways flight BA2263.

"Just left this ring on British Airways 2263 London to Jamaica JUST NOW!!!" Popcaan wrote alongside a photo of the jewelry.

He explained that he realized the ring was missing only minutes after arriving and immediately tried to have it retrieved. However, he claimed he was informed it was no longer there.

"Just landed and within a few minutes of me realizing I left it in the airline pouch in my seat and tried to get it RETURNED they saying it’s not there. I need the guards or BA to find me that pouch… I NEED MY RING!! Flight BA 2263 seat 2D!!! The persons who clean the plane must can find it, it’s inside the pouch."

Popcaan emphasized that the ring cannot simply be replaced because it was specially made for him.

"@british_airways come on man y’all can help out better than this," he continued. "The ring is one of a kind CUSTOM!!! #unrulystate printed on the inside (ring was placed in the airline pouch) @nmia_airport SHARE AND REPOST AND TAG BRITISH AIRWAYS."

The post quickly attracted widespread attention online, with many fans sharing it in the hope the ring would be returned. Others, however, were more skeptical about the chances of recovering the jewelry.

Another criticized the tone of Popcaan's request, writing, "Donny is asking for help but not 1 please or thank you in the post." Another chimed in agreeing, "You ain’t gonna get it asking like that. Try starting manners, bout I need it now."

A fourth joked about the value of the missing item, commenting, "Cleaner just got two years annual salary."

British Airways has not publicly responded to Popcaan's appeal.
