Piers Morgan has recently come under fire after posting a tweet that took a dig at Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Piers responded to one of the photos that were taken for their SKIMS Valentines Day Shoot, which also included Kendall Jenner.
The tweet controversially said, "If I were Kim and Kylie, I'd stop being photographed with Kendall". These comments sent Twitter into an absolute frenzy, with Piers coming under heavy criticism for such comments and being accused of body shaming.
One user criticized Piers for being hypocritical with his comments and said "One day you condemn people for trolling Gemma. On the next, you launch your own attach against Kendall. What did the Kardashians ever do to you? Did they refuse your interview request or is it just insecurity on your part? It's way past time to give up the ghost"
Piers Morgan has recently started up his own show called 'Life Stories' which featured Gemma Collins in the first episode. Gemma opened up about some of the trolling she had been subjected to during her career, and Piers was disgusted by many of the comments.
After reading out some of the comment Gemma had received, Piers said "I mean utterly vile and I would normally say, well they'd never say it to your face but some people did say it to your face and would shout in the street at you."
Due to his sit down with Gemma Collins, fans have been left confused as to why Piers Morgan has made the comments. After seeing how many people were enraged by his comments, Piers posted another tweet further reiterating his feelings on the matter, whilst attempting to add some humour into the mix:
"My Kardashians tweet has prompted flagons of faux-feminist foul mouthed, fat-shaming fury. Apparently it's illegal to think one's hotter (Kendall) than the others. But to balance things up, here's a photo of me with my clothes off - objectify me, ladies, I can take it..."
This tweet seemed to only add more fuel to the fire. Fans continued to criticise Piers' actions, and another user explained why she felt his comments were uncalled for. She said "You can think one is hotter, that's fine. You could have said "Kendall is hotter" what you didn't need to do was "If I were Kim or Kylie I'd stop having pictures with Kendall" you took a route that put the others down instead of getting to the point of saying you fancy Kendall"
