NIGERIAN HAIR VENDOR RECEIVES BACKLASH ONLINE AFTER REVEALING HOW SHE SOURCES HAIR

Popular Nigerian hair vendors Jaynato Hair are receiving huge backlash online, after the owner created a TikTok video revealing how and where the company sources their real human hair.

The video posted to TikTok showcases her trip to Vietnam, where she is standing in what she labelled a 'donor factory' holding a pair of scissors, before then apologising to the young girl, giving her a hug before she cuts her hair off. She does claim that she got permission "to do the cutting" in order to prove they do infant use real human hair- however this did not stop her from facing backlash via many social media platforms.

This twitter user accused her of exploiting people for a living and expressed discontent not knowing how to feel regarding the matter.
Another twitter user further accused her of exploting the young girl and violating her child rights, going on to mention how she is meant to be a feminist and against this.

Twitter User, Stacey, questions when this techinque of sourcing wigs actually became real, and also the processes behind the hair sourcing.

Popular tweeter, Chi, calls out what she believes is 'creepy and fetishy' behaviour, and questions how black people would feel if this was happening in reverse.
