Nick Grimshaw has announced his engagement to boyfriend Meshach Henry.Sharing the news on his Instagram page, the former BBC Radio 1 DJ, 37, shared a collection of photos of his engagement ring. His caption read: "And in gay news this evening "got proposed to, said yes obvs."

Nick and Meshach, 25, have reportedly been together since 2018. Appearing on Celebrity Juice last year, the presenter told the story of how the two met 'in the smoking area of a pub on Hackney Road'.

He said: "Me and my friend were queuing to get in and I saw him and didn't say anything to my friend and my friend, she was in front of me, so went in and she's like "I've literally just seen your husband, that guy, we've got to talk to him.'

"I was like, "no don't do it," and then she did.
