MISS R FABULOUS APOLOGISES FOR COMMENTS ABOUT A CHILD AND RESPONDS TO BACKLASH

Miss R Fabulous, real name Renee, a popular social media personality known for her bold and often controversial content, has built a large following on TikTok and Instagram by sharing unfiltered takes on trending topics and her personal life. Renee, who frequently goes live to interact with fans, has previously been involved in online disputes, but this latest incident has drawn unprecedented criticism.

The controversy unfolded last week when Renee joined a TikTok live stream with three other accounts, including a creator known as Courts The Icon, who has almost 30,000 followers. During the stream, tensions escalated after Renee confronted Courts over an alleged remark Courts had made about her eight-month-old daughter, Miracle.

“You came in the live and you have been mad f*cking disrespectful. What does my eight month old child have to do with anything in this conversation,”

Renee said, clearly angered by the exchange. As the live continued, she became increasingly irate, requesting that someone send an image of Courts’ child before making comments that have since sparked outrage.

“Has some got a picture of her yute? F*ck it, now you have just set me off,”
Renee said, before delivering the line that shocked viewers and led to widespread condemnation:
“Send me a picture of her pickney. I'll put a d*ck in your child's mouth. Don't fck with me b*tch. I'm the wrong one.”

The other participants on the live were visibly stunned, their mouths dropping in disbelief. Courts quickly responded, exclaiming:

“I beg your pardon!? You're gonna do what!?”

She went on to repeat and spell out the inappropriate phrase in shock, then shouted:

“Everyone report this woman to socials! You're gonna put a grown man's thing in a child's mouth!?”

The argument continued with both women talking over each other. Renee, still visibly irritated, declared:

“I'm the worst person you could ever f*cking disrespect when it comes to my child. You came in here, and the first thing you said was about my child. Now, nobody was talking about you, I was very mute. I was eating my food. I didn't even disrespect you sweetheart.”

She added,

“You people like to try me, and then when I explode, you lot want to play the victim.”

Clips from the live quickly circulated across TikTok and other platforms. Numerous creators condemned Renee’s remarks. One TikTok user said:

“I have just watched a video of Miss R Fabulous, saying she is going to put a man's private part in a baby's mouth! As a diss and cuss to somebody she is cussing on live!”

The creator described feeling shocked, horrified and disgusted, adding that they had never heard anyone use such language as a way to insult someone. Many echoed the sentiment, saying certain boundaries should never be crossed, regardless of anger or retaliation.

Before apologising, Renee initially defended herself in another live stream, stating that she would not apologise because she was retaliating to an insult aimed at her daughter. She argued that people often fail to call out others who provoke her, instead criticising her response. However, after the backlash grew, she eventually issued a public apology.

On 23 September, Renee addressed the controversy through a series of Instagram Story posts. She wrote:

“I ain't speaking on it again. I addressed it and took accountability, has Courts ever taken accountability? That woman comes online all day and attacks innocent pickney and says worse sh*t and y'all give her a pass. I apologised and took accountability, if you can't move on, block me. You lot are selective, she came for my child, cussed me and my kid, you think I'm not going to cuss her child back."

In the same post, she added:

“What I said was absolutely wrong, no way am I happy about that, and I will never do such a thing.”

In a follow-up story she said,

“Now you're all acting as if I'm happy and proud with what I said. It was in the heat of the moment, and I would never do such a thing, but you aren't going to attack me and speak on my child. I will risk it all for my baby. She is also innocent, why is it okay when they do it, but when I do something it's a huge problem? If you're going to hold one person accountable, hold everyone accountable. Let's not do double standards.”

Renee concluded by saying she would no longer address the matter and suggested that people move on. As for Courts, she has not made any significant public comments following the incident.

Despite Renee’s apology, many social media users remain angered and disappointed, with some insisting that her remarks were unforgivable regardless of the circumstances.
