Migos rapper Takeoff has died at the age of 28 following a shooting at a bowling alley in Houston in the early hours of Tuesday morning

Migos rapper Takeoff has sadly died after a shooting at a bowling alley in Houston. The rapper, 28, was with fellow Migos rapper Quavo at the time.According to TMZ, Takeoff and Quavo were playing dice when an altercation broke out and Takeoff was shot.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.While many reports have claimed that Quavo was also shot but not dead, it has been confirmed that Quavo was not injured.However, two other people were shot and taken to hospital. Just hours before the shooting, Takeoff posted a snap of himself at the bowling alley on his Instagram story.Many stars have started taking to social media to pay their respects.

Boxer Chris Eubank Jr tweeted: "I remember Takeoff being a very down to earth, cool dude. Can't believe I'm having to say this again about another young black star being killed for no reason, something really has to change in the industry. An MMA fighter wrote: "Rest in Peace Takeoff." Takeoff was the youngest member of rap trio Migos, which conistsed of him, Quavo, 31, and Offset, 30.While Quavo was his Takeoff's uncle, Offset was his cousin. Takeoff's real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball.
