Ex Love Islanders Micheal Boateng and Leanne Amaning had an erupt end to their relationship on the show when Micheal apparently started to give Leanne the "ick".After she put an end to their relationship, they didn't part on the best terms.

Micheal eventually got into a relationship with his current girlfriend, Priscilla Anyabu, who he met on the show.In celebration of Ghana's Independence Day, Michael and Leanne posted a Tiktok of them choosing their favourite things about Ghana.

In Micheal's post, he added the caption "Ghana is a peaceful nation!! So look who I made peace with! HAPPY 64th INDEPENDENCE DAY GHANA"Leanne posted a picture of her and Micheal together, with the caption "From metanfo to madamfo (looool just joking) - just 2 ghanaians coming together to celebrate something special. Happy independence day to my homeland. There's nowhere else I would rather be from."

Fans had a few questions for Micheal who took to his Instagram story to address some of them. One fan asked who approached the other first, to which Micheal responded:"I asked her first. My reasoning was simple as well..life is too short and one thing I hate is having regrets but I definitely would have regretted not letting her know I had moved past whatever happened.

We're both black and Ghanian in this game so I'd rather set an example given we're in a position of influence"
