Mel B could be facing a court as ex-husband Stephen Belfonte alleges the star has a nudity and drinking problem making their 11-year-old daughter uncomfortable.

Belfonte claims she would work around the home with no underwear, with her privates exposed.

He also seeks a court order barring Mel from being under the influence of alcohol or any other substance which substantially impairs her ability to care for Madison during her custody time with their child.

In many of Madison's communications with Mel, Mel is demonstrably intoxicated, slurring her speech and speaking in the distinct manner in which [Mel] speaks when intoxicated.

Belfonte continued "This has gotten to the point where Madison has felt the need to call Mel out."

It is alleged that Mel B, formally known as Melanie Janine Brown, had entered their daughter's bathtub naked and on several occasions, "cuddled naked" with Madison.

Madison, he alleges, is in a state of panic and utter refusal to see her mother.

He adds that their child would be seeing Mel in the UK later this month and that he wants strict conditions followed, including using a personal mobile phone.

The two have been in an ongoing divorce battle with the most recent case seeing Belfonte describe the former Spice Girl's behaviour as "bizarre".

Mel-B hit back at the accusations and claimed that Madison was under the care of a woman named Bahare. Brown said Bahare had ties to their former nanny Lorraine Gilles, who she claimed Stephen knew Madison was not permitted to be around.

Brown stated - Stephen also frequently leaves Madison with caretakers when he parties, gathers with associates, attends recording sessions in studios, and engages in other activities at all hours of the day and through the night. Stephen does not inform me of who Madison's caretakers are, where Madison is while under their care, and how long Madison is in their care. It is troubling to me that I have no idea who Madison is being left with for several consecutive overnights – especially when Stephen is out of state.

The two are set to face off again in court next month.
