Influencer Mariam Musa and Adeola Patronne have added yet another notch in their belts this summer. The pair who began collaborating on their successful and wildly unfiltered podcast ‘Deep It’ recently announced that the podcast is now available on all British airways flights with in-flight entertainment.
The pair launched their podcast in October of last year and have since amassed thousands of listeners who return weekly to unpack listener stories, juicy dilemmas, hot topics” and shared experiences. It seems no topic is off limits for the “Deep It” hosts who have discussed audience stories that range from being robbed by a one night stand to mother-in-laws from hell.
The successful duo are made up of 30-year-old content creator and new mother Miriam Musa, who made a name for herself as a makeup and fashion influencer and 30-year-old personality Adeola Patronne who found fame as a content creator on YouTube. Patronne has since appeared on several shows, including Harry Pinero's Worst in Class, Tapped Out, and her own show, Ready or Not.
Now the already undeniably successful pair are taking it to new heights… literally! They pair recently announced to their nearly 1 million combined followers that the UK-based global airline British Airways, the only airline to carry the British flag, had given them a global platform. The pair shared an image of their podcast shown on a BA in-flight television along with the following message to their fans:
“WE OUTSIDE THIS SUMMER
You can now tune into Deep It on all BA flights with inflight entertainment!
So where are we flying out to Dolls??”
With their voices now flying high above the clouds and reaching a whole new global audience, it’s clear Mariam Musa and Adeola Patronne are here to dominate. From YouTube screens to BBC mics and now British Airways cabins, the Deep It duo are proving that the era of the UK Black girl content creators is not only here, it’s boarding gate-ready.
