Love Island star Yasmin Pettet was left horrified after accidentally dropping her £7,000 Chanel handbag onto railway tracks — before watching it get run over multiple times. The 23-year-old reality TV personality shared the dramatic mishap with her followers, documenting the moment her luxury designer accessory ended up stranded on the tracks while she waited at a station.

Posting a photo of the bag lying beside the rails, Yasmin described the incident as a “horror story” and wrote: “Chanel down. I repeat. Chanel down.”

She later added: “I wish I was making this up.”

The situation quickly went from bad to worse when trains continued to pass over the handbag. In a video shared online, Yasmin could be heard reacting in disbelief as another train rolled over it, repeatedly saying: “Oh no.”

Providing an update to concerned followers, she later joked: “Three trains have run over Chanely,” giving the bag a nickname as fans waited to hear whether it had survived the ordeal.

Fortunately, a member of station staff eventually stepped in, using a long litter-picker device to retrieve the battered designer item from the tracks.

The handbag holds special significance for Yasmin, as it was reportedly gifted to her by rapper Central Cee during a recent luxury shopping trip. Reports emerged earlier this month that the musician treated the Love Island star to a lavish day out, including a visit to Harrods where he purchased the Chanel bag, along with a pair of designer heels.

The pair first sparked romance rumours after spending time together at a private event in London. Central Cee, whose real name is Oakley Neil Caesar-Su, later appeared to confirm his interest in Yasmin during an interview, naming her when asked about his celebrity crush.

“I do have one, I’ve got one I’m sure. Yasmin from Love Island,” he said.

Meanwhile, Yasmin remained tight-lipped when questioned about the rapper at the National Television Awards, responding: “No comment… Watch this space.”

The train-track disaster quickly became a talking point online, with TSB Residents sharing their reactions to the unfortunate accident.
