Love Island stars Shakira Khan, Yasmin Pettet and Toni Laites have officially been confirmed as the new hosts of the show's companion podcast, following weeks of speculation over who would replace departing presenters Amy Hart and Indiyah Polack.
ITV announced that the trio will front the newly renamed Love Island: The Debrief, with the former Islanders set to break down all of the biggest moments from the villa throughout the upcoming series.

The three women became one of the most talked-about friendship groups from their season of the dating show, earning the nickname the "Big Three" among viewers thanks to their close bond and unwavering support for one another.
With a new summer of romance, drama and bombshell arrivals on the way, the podcast will also be available as a nightly companion show across ITV2 and ITVX, giving fans an extra chance to catch up on everything happening inside the famous villa. Announcing the news, ITV highlighted the impact the trio had during their time on the programme, noting how audiences connected with their friendship and dynamic.

The broadcaster also pointed to the success of the official Love Island podcast, which has amassed millions of streams across platforms, while the wider franchise continues to draw huge viewing figures online. Amanda Stavri, Commissioning Editor for Entertainment and Reality at ITV, said:
“Love Island’s ‘Big Three’ played a significant part in the show’s success last Summer, so to reunite the trio as hosts of our revamped vodcast is a very exciting proposition. Once again the show will be first with all of the post show opinions, and in our new slot on ITV2, there are more ways than ever for our audience to engage.”
Mike Spencer-Hayter, Director of Unscripted for Lifted Entertainment, added:
“Toni, Shakira and Yasmin’s friendship captured the hearts of the Love Island fans in 2025 and we’re delighted to welcome them back to the Love Island family to host The Debrief. All of the girls are unfiltered, funny and love a gossip, which makes them perfect choices for the vodcast. It certainly will be a show you won’t want to miss!”

The trio also shared their excitement about returning to the Love Island world in an official statement. They said:
“Love Island brought us together so this is very much a full circle moment. Talking together is what we do best and none of us are short on opinions so we’re ready to make this a reunion to remember!”
Reports surrounding the appointment had been circulating for several weeks before the official confirmation arrived, with sources previously suggesting the three women impressed bosses during screen tests thanks to their natural chemistry and friendship.
The announcement has already sparked plenty of discussion online, with fans divided over the decision. One person wrote:
“I will actually be interested in watching if they are allowed to keep their personalities and dynamic!”
Another commented:
“This years Love Island can not compare to what these 3 baddies have us, it’s simply not possible.”

Not everybody was convinced, however, with one viewer writing:
“Not sure about this. They seem to have very similar opinions; if one person takes a disliking to an islander, they probably all will and the conversations around the islanders will be bias. They were very main character in their season; not sure they are the best options. Would be better to have OG hosts from older seasons.”
The new hosting line-up marks the beginning of a fresh era for the official podcast following Amy and Indiyah’s departure after three years in the role. Now, all eyes will be on whether Shakira, Yas and Toni can bring the same energy that made them one of the most memorable friendships to come out of the villa when they take over the mic this summer.
