Love Island 2021 Star Lucinda Strafford Robbed by Man in Balaclava

Love Island 2021 star Lucinda Strafford revealed in a post on Instagram that she had been robbed by a man wearing a balaclava who sped away on a motorbike.

On Wednesday evening, Strafford was on her way to see Frozen the Musical at the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane. Her phone was then snatched out of her hand from a balaclava-wearing man who rode quickly away from the scene on a motorbike. She informed her followers on her Instagram stories.

According to Strafford, she has not received her phone back yet as it had been wrenched from her hands.

This incident follows just mere weeks after former Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were the victims of a burglary in their former Manchester home. £800,000 worth of the couple's possessions were stolen while they were away in London for Molly-Mae's beauty launch event. They have since moved away to a new home and have hired 24/7 security for added protection.

The couple has since vowed to "never return" to their former flat.

In a YouTube video, Molly-Mae shared her feelings on the incident. She had questioned herself on whether she could have prevented the robbery by being more security conscious. She said: "But I think seeing a lot of things on social media and seeing a lot of people's opinions about why we were robbed, I started to feel like, God was this my fault? Do I share too much? Did I do the wrong thing?"
