The ex-husband of reality star Katie Price, Kieran Hayler has been charged with multiple sexual offences involving a minor. The offences allegedly took place between June and October 2016, while Hayler was still married to Price. 

The 38-year-old Hayler appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court earlier this week, only confirming his personal details in a very brief hearing. He did not enter a plea and was granted bail on the condition he does not contact the alleged victim. 

Police confirmed the unnamed victim - who was 13 at the time of the alleged offence - has no relations to Miss Price or Mr. Hayler's family or extended family. The victim is receiving support from trained officers. Hayler's next court appearance is scheduled for 17 December at Lewes Crown Court for a plea hearing. 

In response to the allegations, Hayler’s legal team firmly denied the charges. He “strongly denies the allegations made against him in their entirety." He was first charged with the offences last month. Ms. Price and Mr. Hayler got married in 2013 before finalizing their divorce in 2021, sharing two children, Jett and Bunny. Mr Hayler, who has 195,000 followers on Instagram, was recently featured in his former stepdaughter Princess' reality show The Princess Diaries on ITV2.

The case has sparked significant media attention, not only because of Hayler’s high-profile past, but also due to the severity of the charges. As proceedings move forward, many will be watching closely to see how the legal process unfolds.
