FREDO REVEALS HE PLANS TO RETURN TO THE UK TO BEAT UNRESOLVED CASE INVOLVING DIGGA D

FREDO REVEALS HE PLANS TO RETURN TO THE UK TO BEAT UNRESOLVED CASE INVOLVING DIGGA D

32 year old British rapper Fredo, whose real name is Marvin Bailey, was named as an alleged co-conspirator in a case involving members of the Harrow Road Boys (HRB), a group linked to west London, and an alleged plot to shoot rival rapper Digga D, whose real name is Rhys Herbert.

The case attracted widespread attention after seven men were convicted following a retrial at Kingston Crown Court in August 2025 with their combined prison sentences totalled 116 years. However, Fredo was not among those convicted at the retrial, having failed to appear in court meaning his legal position has therefore remained a separate issue from the convictions secured against the other defendants.

The prosecution alleged that members of the Harrow Road Boys were involved in a conspiracy to obtain firearms with the intention of targeting rival gang members, including Digga D. Evidence presented during the proceedings included digital communications and messages in which members of the group allegedly discussed obtaining weapons and targeting rivals.

Fredo was named in connection with the alleged conspiracy and the case was linked to longstanding tensions between HRB and the rival group associated with Digga D, with prosecutors describing an alleged plan to target the rapper during a recording session in central London. The allegations are serious, but it is important to distinguish between being named as an alleged co-conspirator and being convicted of an offence. The 2025 convictions related to the defendants who stood trial, not Fredo. Digga D was identified as the intended target of the alleged firearms plot, rather than a defendant in that conspiracy.

Fredo's possible return has attracted interest because of the unresolved legal proceedings. Reports have described him as being abroad, with an outstanding warrant reported in connection with the case.

If he returns to the UK and the warrant remains active, he could face arrest and further court proceedings.

Fredo's legal position remains the central unanswered question. If he returns to the UK while an arrest warrant is active, the case could move into a new phase, potentially involving arrest, court appearances and further proceedings.

The case remains one of the most closely watched legal stories connected to the UK rap scene, highlighting the serious consequences that alleged gang-related violence can have for artists and those associated with them.

Digga D has also faced separate legal difficulties as after being arrested in February 2024 on Instagram live, in January 2025 he was jailed for three years and 11 months after admitting offences involving the importation and supply of cannabis. He was released in October 2025 and was recently ordered to repay £201,039 under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Those proceedings are separate from the firearms conspiracy involving Fredo.
