A female prison officer will face trial in October after being accused of having intimate relationships with two inmates at the same time. Isabelle Dale, 23, is said to have simultaneously had sexual relationships with convicted robber Shahid Sharif, 33, and Connor Money, 28. The flings allegedly took place between 1 September 2021 and 31 December 2022. Money was jailed for nine years for the death of his best friend, which occurred in a 147mph high-speed chase with police.
Dale has also been accused of planning to smuggle drugs into HMP Swaleside in Kent, where Sharif was being held. Dale appeared at Southwark Crown Court and has been charged with two counts of misconduct in public office for her unlawful relationships with the inmates. The first charge claims Dale 'wilfully and without reasonable excuse or justification misconducted yourself in a way which amounted to an abuse of the public's trust in the office holder by having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a serving prisoner by the name of Shahid Sharif.' The second charge pertains to her year-long relationship with Money.
Dale is also charged with conspiring with Sharif, Lilea Sallis, and other unknown assailants to smuggle drugs into HMP Swaleside. Dale’s trial will take place on 21 October 2025 and is set to last between two and three weeks. Sharif and Sallis, 27, have also been charged with their conspiracy to bring drugs into the Swaleside prison. Sharif appeared in court via a video link from HMP Manchester and was also charged with possessing a mobile phone in HMP Brixton and HMP Wandsworth between 1 September 2021 and 31 December 2022. Sallis was bailed on the condition that she did not contact Dale or Sharif.
On the website ‘Topline’, Dale describes herself as ‘a seasoned Prison Officer with 2 years of experience, holds a degree in Criminology and Law from City of Portsmouth College, and is proficient in English and Maths.' Connor Money is not facing charges for his relationship with Dale.
