Digga D has entered the booth ! The west London rapper appears to have a few things to get off his chest when it comes to Youtuber Danny Aarons and his ex-girlfriend Tennessee Thresher.

On his new Headie One collaboration, “How Dare They”, Digga addresses some of the conversation surrounding Danny, Tennessee and their relationship, while making one claim in particular that has social media asking questions.

Digga and Tennessee were previously in a public relationship, regularly appearing together online before eventually calling it quits. Tennessee later moved on with YouTuber Danny Aarons, with the pair going public with their relationship before welcoming their first child together, a daughter named Suede.

And according to Digga, there could be a little more history behind that name than people realised.

“You cuffed a b*tch that tatted my name, speaking on names, who you think came up with Suede?” Digga raps.

The bar appears to suggest that the name Suede was something Digga and Tennessee had previously discussed during their own relationship. However, neither Tennessee nor Danny have confirmed Digga’s version of events.

Digga’s bars also appear to be a direct response to Danny previously speaking about him during a podcast appearance.

When Danny was asked, “Are you not scared he’s gonna come bang you out?”, he dismissed the idea, explaining that he doesn’t carry feelings towards people who date his exes.

Things then got a little more personal when money entered the conversation, with Danny claiming that he had earned more through his YouTube career than Digga had as a rapper, a claim that remains unconfirmed.

And it seems that particular comment may have rubbed Digga the wrong way.

“They gonna say I’m a bully ’cause you ain’t Black and that you ain’t come from the roads. But you was tryna be funny chatting ’bout money and that’s why you’re getting exposed,”

Digga raps, seemingly doubling down on the idea that he isn’t starting anything, but responding to what was already said.

Naturally, Residents are split.

Some think Digga is being petty and should leave his ex and her new relationship alone. Others believe Danny made the situation fair game by entertaining questions about Digga in the first place.

“This is so weird. Danny should’ve said he’s not discussing Ten’s ex on a podcast,” one person commented.

But arguably the biggest conversation has nothing to do with Danny and Digga’s money talk. People want to know whether there’s any truth behind that Suede bar.

“I’d be so mad if my lady named our baby a name she came up with an ex,” another commenter wrote.

Whatever the history behind the name, one thing is certain: a podcast conversation has now made its way into a rap verse, and Digga clearly had a response ready.
