Chunkz has shocked his fans by revealing that he's quitting music to focus on his religion. The 25 year old Youtuber and rapper whose real name is Amin Mohammed revealed the news in his latest youtube video titled; "Why I'm quitting music".

He explained that music was "haram" in Islam and thus he made the conscious decision to quit in order to get closer to his faith.

Chunkz has made a series of musical appearances in recent years, even scoring a top 30 single with Yung Filly with "Hold" last year. However, it looks like those days are over.

When asked why he is choosing to quit now, when his career is just setting off he said; "I think it's because I am getting more thankful". and further said that music and religion cannot go hand in hand.
