Tributes have been paid following the death of Paul Flack, the older brother of late TV presenter Caroline Flack, who has died aged 55. An inquest heard that Paul was found unresponsive at his home in Norwich on 21 June before later dying in hospital. A provisional post-mortem concluded his cause of death was cardiac arrest due to hanging. The inquest has been adjourned while further investigations continue. Paul, a graphic designer and artist, is survived by his partner and two children.

His death comes more than six years after Caroline Flack died in February 2020. The former Love Island presenter was known for her infectious energy on screen and her passion for entertainment, forging a successful career that also saw her host The X Factor, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! NOW! and numerous other television programmes. Following her death, conversations around mental health, media scrutiny and public support for those in the spotlight intensified across the UK.

In the aftermath of Caroline's death, Paul largely stepped away from social media. His final Instagram post was a heartfelt tribute to his younger sister, alongside the caption:

‍"This will be my last post here. May those who know feel shame for eternity. Love you Caroline."

He did not return to the platform after sharing the message.

Despite keeping a low profile, Paul remained committed to preserving Caroline's legacy. In 2021, he appeared in the documentary Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death, where he reflected on the pressures his sister faced and remembered her as someone whose passion for television and entertaining others never faded, even during the most difficult periods of her life.

As news of Paul's death emerged, tributes began pouring in from those who knew the family, with many offering their condolences and remembering the close bond between the siblings.
