Things are continuing to heat up between Alhan and Poet, as the former co-hosts' ongoing online feud shows no signs of slowing down. Alhan dedicated the opening 10 minutes of his latest video, Poetry with Specs, to responding to claims Poet recently made during an interview, where he accused Alhan of profiting from Caribbean culture despite not truly belonging to the communities he often engages with.

Poet went as far as suggesting that Alhan does not naturally fit into certain cultural spaces and questioned the authenticity of his connection to them.

In his response, Alhan attempted to challenge those claims by revisiting a past trip to Jamaica, where he says he was welcomed and hosted by Poet's family in St Elizabeth, one of the island's 14 parishes. During the segment, Alhan shared photos and footage from the visit while recounting his experiences with Poet's relatives and local culture.

The podcaster then launched into a metaphor centred around the star apple, a fruit grown on Poet's cousin's farm. Explaining the fruit to viewers, Alhan compared it directly to his former co-host, describing it as something that remains attached to the tree long after it has ripened.

"You my friend, are a star apple. You're stuck in one place turning bitter while all the rest of the fruits go on to bigger and better things,"

He said before abruptly ending the segment with an explosion sound effect and visual transition.

Taking things a step further, Alhan also addressed a separate remark made by Poet regarding a vintage Rolls-Royce. Calling Poet "obsessed", he jokingly offered to transfer ownership of the vehicle, which he claimed is worth around £12,000, if Poet manages to obtain his driving licence before the end of the year.

The latest exchange stems from the highly publicised fallout between the pair, who previously built a loyal audience through their podcasting work together. Once known for their on-screen chemistry and humorous debates, the relationship has gradually unravelled in public, with both men trading comments and accusations across interviews, podcasts and social media.

As the back-and-forth continues, fans are eagerly waiting to see whether Poet will respond. Others are calling for the pair to put their differences aside long enough for one final sit-down episode, hoping the former collaborators can address their issues face to face and give listeners a proper goodbye.
