Adele's manager, Jonathan Dickins, reportedly earned £27,459 a day in 2019, despite the star not launching an album since 2015.

The company, September Management Ltd, lodged annual paperwork to Companies House and reported remarkable dividends for that year.

The firm has assets of approximately £30 million, which means that it produces weekly income of about £200,000.

According to The Sun, the 'Something About You' singer's manager is still raking it in despite Adele keeping a low profile throughout 2019.

He earned £6 million more than the global superstar, the reports suggest. It was reported last year that Adele took a huge £10 million pay cut.

In spite of the massive cut in her salary, the 32-year-old singer still paid dividends of £4.75 million out of her two companies last year.

The music world is bracing itself for the release of her latest album, first expected last year but now to land in 2021. Her last album 25 – which hit the shelves in 2015 – sold 22 million copies worldwide.

It was said that Adele "laid down some initial tracks" for her upcoming recording in a private recording session recently. Drummer Matt Chamberlain told Eddie Trunk podcast, "I just got to work on some new music for Adele".

"To hear that voice in my headphones was getting me chills. It was just so powerful and emotive" he added.

In November, the songwriter stunned her fans with seven-stone weight loss as she hosted Saturday Night Live in the US. Then she teased, "I'm going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year."

During the hosting session, Adele also acknowledged that she had not finished her fourth album, telling the audience: 'My album isn't finished and I'm too scared to do both. I'd rather just put on some wigs and this is all mine by the way. Have a glass of wine or six and see what happens.'
