British-Nigerian social media personality Ehiz Ufuah stirred up quite a whirlwind online yesterday as he announced the arrival of his newborn “daughter.”

Sounds like great news right? Well users online had some questions for the content creator as the announcement seemed quite out of the blue.

‍

Ufuah took to TikTok to post a picture of a new born baby’s hand with his own with the caption “My first born” followed by “My daughter, welcome to the world my likkle one.” This sparked a lot of attention from followers as users were questioning who the mother of the child was. It’s also worth to note that Ehiz has never publicly confirmed his was in a relationship.

One user commented:

oh so he’s not gay? mmm interesting

Another user added:

He got a wife / girlfriend ? Im so confused 🫠 since whennnnnn and I never thought he was gay but he was in a relationship?

After hundreds of comments similar to these seemed to flood his post he then decided to delete the original post altogether. Moments later he took to his socials to respond to all the confusion from the previous announcement. He clarified that his “daughter” is actually his niece and that the original post was taken out of context.

‍

Guys, I'm a proud uncle. This is the newest addition into our family, and we all see her as our daughter

‍

He also added:

You all are weird, I'm never sharing such a beautiful moment with the world ever again.
