28 year old British rapper Clavish whose also known as Clan Wright has reportedly been charged with conspiracy to murder, grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, in connection with a shooting incident in North London. The reported charges relate to a shooting in Stamford Hill in May 2024, during which a 39-year-old woman was reportedly struck in the leg by a bullet. The woman is understood to have been an innocent bystander, rather than the intended target of the incident.
The charges are understood to relate to an alleged attempt to kill another individual, with prosecutors reportedly linking the case to the shooting. Wrights alleged involvement is through the conspiracy charge; this does not by itself establish that he personally fired a weapon. A report published by Sick Chirpse on 30 September 2026 states that he was not present at the scene when the shooting occurred.
Court records published by Open Court Data UK also show a Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court hearing on 17 September 2026 involving charges of conspiracy to murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. However, the public listing identifies the defendant as unknown, so it does not independently establish that the case relates to Wright.
It is important to stress that being charged with an offence does not mean someone is guilty. Wright is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. Further information about the proceedings and any response from his legal representatives will be important as the case develops.
Clavish is known for his contribution to the UK rap and drill scene, building a following through his music and collaborations with rapper peers MoStack, Abra Cadabra and D-Block Europe. The reported charges mark a significant legal development for the rapper, although the allegations have yet to be tested in court.
