The saga surrounding Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has taken another dramatic turn after reports claimed his father has also been jailed in Dubai.

According to reports, Peter Andrews has been detained at Dubai's Al Awir prison after allegedly being reported to authorities by a third party.

The father and son are now said to have come face-to-face behind bars while both deal with separate fraud-related allegations, according to The Sun.

The latest development comes just days after it emerged that Lee Andrews had reportedly been returned to prison after allegedly being arrested over unpaid debts.

Reports claim the 43-year-old is attempting to raise funds to repay the outstanding debts in the hope of securing his release. He is also reportedly facing extradition proceedings.

Katie Price has remained at the centre of the unfolding situation, having previously claimed Lee had disappeared after travelling from Dubai to the UK for what was due to be the couple's first joint television interview.

More recently, the former glamour model said she had "given up the search" for her husband and was leaving the matter in the hands of the police.

A source told The Sun that the ongoing drama has left Price at "the end of her tether", with the latest reports involving Lee's father adding another unexpected chapter to the family's legal troubles.
