Residents, we have some incredible news coming from Jessie J ❤️🙏🏾
The singer has revealed that she is officially cancer free, a year after bravely sharing her breast cancer diagnosis with fans.
Taking to Instagram, Jessie posted an emotional video of herself waiting for the results of an MRI scan during a routine yearly check-up. Shortly afterwards, she shared the life-changing update.
"Results are in and I am cancer-free!" she wrote alongside a string of crying emojis.
She admitted the moment was overwhelming, telling followers: "I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year."
Jessie first revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2025. Later that month she underwent surgery before informing fans that further treatment would be required, leading to the cancellation and postponement of several tour dates.
Throughout her cancer journey, Jessie chose to be open about her experience, explaining that sharing her diagnosis publicly helped her process what she was going through while also supporting others facing similar battles.
The singer, who welcomed her son in 2023, previously described the experience as giving her "incredible perspective" on life.
She also thanked fans for their support throughout the difficult period, saying she wanted to continue being honest about both the highs and lows of her journey.
Jessie has faced several serious health challenges throughout her life. As a child she was diagnosed with a heart condition, suffered a stroke as a teenager, and in 2020 revealed she had temporarily lost her hearing due to Ménière's disease.
Now, after a year of treatment, recovery and uncertainty, the singer is celebrating the news that fans across the world were hoping to hear ❤️
Residents, join us in sending a huge congratulations to Jessie J on this amazing news 🙌🏾✨
