Simba has well and truly become the main character of this year's Casa Amor chaos, and if last night's episode proved anything, it's that confusion really does make for good television.
The latest episode picked up in the aftermath of the explosive Casa Amor recoupling, where Simba returned to the villa with Casa Amor bombshell Mara, leaving Angelista standing alone after she chose to stay loyal. While Simba admitted it was not nice seeing Angelista by herself, he insisted he would have been "doing himself a disservice" if he had not stayed open to exploring new connections.
Things only became messier when the pair sat down for a heart-to-heart. Simba attempted to explain that bringing Mara back was not an "exchange" and claimed he still knew where his heart was. Angelista, however, was left completely baffled, repeatedly questioning how he could recouple with another woman while insisting he still wanted to pursue things with her. At one point, she simply asked,
"Do you actually hear yourself?",
A question many viewers felt summed up the entire conversation.
The emotional fallout became too much for Angelista, who later broke down in tears and admitted she felt like her Love Island journey could be over as the girls rallied around her. In the same episode, Simba declared that if Angelista chose to leave the villa, he would leave with her, adding another twist to an already chaotic situation.
Despite the heartbreak, social media could not help but laugh at Simba's increasingly chaotic attempts to explain himself. While plenty of viewers criticised the mixed signals he was sending to both Angelista and Mara, others admitted they were thoroughly entertained by the confusion unfolding on screen.

Across social media, viewers joked that Simba was speaking in circles, with many saying every conversation somehow left everyone, including Simba himself, even more confused than before. Others branded him this season's unexpected "villa villain", while some even praised him for delivering what they called "generational television". Fans of the show described his endless stream of contradictory explanations as "waffle" and "nonsense", while admitting it made for some of the funniest viewing of the series so far.

Whether viewers are rooting for Angelista to shut the door for good or secretly hoping Simba digs himself into an even deeper hole, one thing is certain, every time he opens his mouth, the villa somehow gets even messier.
Residents, do you think Simba genuinely does not know what he wants, or is he simply trying to keep every door open?
