FUNERAL DIRECTOR WHO LEFT BODIES IN MORTUARY JAILED FOR 20 YEARS
A former funeral director has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after admitting a series of offences that included failing to bury or cremate deceased individuals and providing grieving families with ashes that did not belong to their loved ones. Robert Bush, the former owner of Legacy Independent Funeral Directors in Hull, pleaded guilty to 67 offences committed over a 12-year period. His crimes included denying 30 people a respectful burial or cremation, stealing from 12 charities, and engaging in fraudulent trading practices.
