FATHER JAILED FOR 20 YEARS FOR STEALING NOKIA PHONE SET TO BE RELEASED NEXT MONTH
A man who spent more than 20 years behind bars for stealing a mobile phone is set to be released next month after a parole board approved his freedom following decades of imprisonment under the controversial Imprisonment for Public Protection (IPP) sentencing scheme. Leroy Douglas, now 44, was sentenced in 2005 after robbing a friend of a mobile phone behind Cardiff railway station.
