Nella Rose has called out a spa in the French Alps for alleged discrimination and Islamophobia during a brand trip. 20 Black and Brown influencers set out to promote a Black-owned brand during the trip, however, their stay at a spa was cut short when two of the influencers, who were Muslim, were refused entry due to their modest swimwear. The group were also asked to leave the premises because they were making other spagoers "uncomfortable".

Two women died at Manchester Royal Infirmary after being given chicken and mayonnaise sandwiches by the hospital. An inquest has heard that the sandwiches were contaminated with listeria, causing the women to develop listeriosis, which can be deadly. Beverley Sowah (57) and Enid Heap (84) passed away in the hospital less than a month from one another.
