BLACK LIVES MATTER ORGANISER TO PAY JUST £1 OF £70,000 OF CHARITY DONATIONS USED TO FUND LAVISH LIFESTYLE
A woman who helped organise the Black Lives Matter protests – which saw the Edward Colston statue being toppled in 2020 – stole more than £70,000 from a charity she was director of. Xahra Saleem, 23, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after admitting spending thousands of pounds of public donations. The money was intended to go towards Changing Your Mindset, a Bristol St Pauls-based youth group.
