Bromley has come out on top as the ‘best’ London borough for working families to live in. The South East London borough beat out all of the other constituencies to take the crown Property company Making Moves analysed London’s 32 boroughs, taking into account the average central London commute time, number of schools, green spaces and job vacancies. Barnet came in a close second, Croydon third, Ealing came in at fourth place, with Richmond Upon Thames taking a respectable fifth place. Bromley boasts 156 parks, 14 libraries, and a crime rate of just 69.4%.

A woman who helped organise the Black Lives Matter protests – which saw the Edward Colston statue being toppled in 2020 – stole more than £70,000 from a charity she was director of. Xahra Saleem, 23, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after admitting spending thousands of pounds of public donations. The money was intended to go towards Changing Your Mindset, a Bristol St Pauls-based youth group.

The 45-year-old midfielder, celebrated for his remarkable football career, disclosed in court documents that the twins he believed to be his children were conceived by Laure's previous husband, sending shockwaves through their native Cameroon.
