Over 800 predominantly Black female and non-binary actors have come together in solidarity with Francesca Amewudah-Rivers, who has been cruelly targeted by online racial abuse. The vile commentary came after the announcement of her casting in a new Jamie Lloyd production of Romeo & Juliet. The open letter reads: “Too many times, Black performers – particularly Black actresses – are left to face the storm of online abuse after committing the crime of getting a job on their own.”

Bromley has come out on top as the ‘best’ London borough for working families to live in. The South East London borough beat out all of the other constituencies to take the crown Property company Making Moves analysed London’s 32 boroughs, taking into account the average central London commute time, number of schools, green spaces and job vacancies. Bromley boasts 156 parks, 14 libraries, and a crime rate of just 69.4%.

Xahra Saleem, 23, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after admitting spending thousands of pounds of public donations.
