Nathaniel Mortley, also known as Natty Can Cook, has transformed his life from a troubled past into a promising culinary career. After being stabbed at 16 and serving time at HMP Brixton, he discovered his passion for cooking through the Clink charity’s rehabilitation programme. Now, Mortley is taking on a permanent residency at the Greyhound Pub in Peckham, where he’s serving up Caribbean-inspired dishes with a French twist. Mortley’s journey is not just about his love for food but also about giving back to the community, as he plans to launch a charity to help others in need of a second chance. His story is a powerful example of resilience and the transformative power of opportunity.
