BAFTA-WINNING ACTOR MICHEAL WARD APPEARS IN COURT ON RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES

Micheal Ward, 27-year-old BAFTA-winning actor known for roles in Top Boy, Small Axe, and Eddington, has appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court facing two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault. He has been granted conditional bail and is due to appear next at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 25 September. Ward, who denies the charges, says he has fully cooperated with the police and maintains his faith that the legal process will eventually clear his name.
