Prison officer Isabelle Dale appeared at Southwark Crown Court and was charged with two counts of misconduct in public office. She is accused of having sexual relationships with two inmates at HMP Swaleside in Kent. A trial is scheduled to begin on October 21 and is expected to last up to three weeks.

An East London mother has been charged with the murder of her four-year-old son after stabbing him to death. The mother is said to have collected her son from school before stabbing him dozens of times. The court heard the mother had grown unhappy with the new relationship of her ex-partner and the father of her son, before carrying out the brutal crime.

American singer and actress Halle Bailey has been granted a restraining order against rapper ex-boyfriend DDG. The Little Mermaid actress alleges DDG had previously been physically abusive to her on multiple occasions, including slamming her face into a steering wheel.

A senior female prison officer has been handed a 12-month suspended sentence after her fling with an inmate was captured on her bodycam.
